3D food tasting
A number of residents with chewing and swallowing problems joined a food tasting of our latest 3D food recipes and 3D food designs in the Hof van Nassau nursing home in Steenbergen.

The participants in the 3D food tasting liked both the shape and the taste of the 3D-printed carrot and beetroot. They also appreciated the fact that the 3D printed vegetables were beautifully presented on a plate. Thanks to the 3D-printed food, they find the meal attractive again and they regain their appetite for food.
During the test, it turned out that the shape and color of the 3D-printed broccoli needed some extra attention because the color was a bit faded and the shape had slightly collapsed. Gastronology will further refine this in the coming period.
